Steve’s training program was exceptional. After completing Steve’s course, I was able to establish my dog training business immediately. Animals have always been a part of my life, especially dogs and horses. As a young adult, my purchased my own dog – an Italian Greyhound I named Rosie. I handled Rosie to her AKC and Mexican Championships. Soon after, I was asked to work with professional handlers. I learned about many breeds, how to groom, prepare for the ring, and also handle them in the ring.

Almost 4 years ago, I was having trouble with my black Giant Schnauzer puppy, Vala. She was being aggressive towards other members of my family. Then I met Steve Welch. Following his “Fun, Fair, Firm” training, attending his classes and following his rules, Vala and I experienced a tremendous change in her behavior. Steve impressed me – as long as anyone tried, he never gave up on anyone, including me. Now Vala is a loving, happy member of my family by following Steve’s training. She loves to work. Vala not only works obedience, but she also works advanced off-leash, protection and agility. I was addicted to training dogs.

Working with him, Steve has taught me how to bring the best out of any dog, no matter what the obstacles or challenges. I have witnessed amazing results with my own dog as well as other clients’ dogs. Because of Steve, I have been able to take my love of working with animals forward by becoming a trainer with Steve.
